I never imagined earning a living as an artist.
I grew up in a conservative and rural area, so being gay was something I learned to repress, not to mention painting male nudes. But places and times change. One day I decided to take some of my little pastel paintings that expressed my hopeful view of gay life, love and fantasy I had accumulating in the closet and put them out there. That's how my path began.
Inside you'll find my paintings of attractive athletic male physiques. And, while a cornerstone of my work, I think of the figures not as the focus but as messengers of moments, ideas, and emotions that connect us, gay, straight, or in between.
